Let Donna help you solve the mystery of sweater design. The ultimate goal for a design is a garment that reflects your personal style and fits well. Learn the process of taking an idea and bringing it to life. Choices of stitch patterns, construction options, fit, shaping and embellishments will be covered in detail. Students will begin a design notebook, create a schematic and write their pattern as part of the class. No extra fees for this class.

DONNA KAY has been knitting and designing for over 20 years. 'Folk' knitting is her passion; her evident delight in sharing her expertise, along with the exceptional quality of her original designs, make her a highly sought after instructor throughout the U.S. Donna's designs, some of them for major yarn companies, have frequently appeared in popular knitting magazines as well as in the books, Christmas Stockings and Knitter's Stash. In order to further promote the art of traditional hand-knitting, she started her own company, Tree of Life Designs.
